Product: HP Smart Tank 520 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 26.0 Tahoe

I have an HP Smart Tank 520 USB-only printer (Product 1F3W2A) and a MacBook Pro M4 running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2

The printer is detected over USB, but there is no compatible macOS driver available. 

HP Community moderators repeatedly recommend HP Smart Tank Driver Essentials – L5_1657 for this exact issue.

Could you please provide the current download link for L5_1657, or email me the installer?

Hi @MaxaMil,

Please install with the next Apple Smart Tank basic driver:

 

1) Connect your printer with USB cable:

  • ferRX_0-1784623998547.pngferRX_0-1784623998547.png

2) Then install the next software

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted as Solution when question is answered.
