HP Smart Tank 529 no wireless button

The entire Hp support website is full of instructions including a wireless button on the printer, if I look for a way to connect my printer to wifi. But there is no such button on my printer. Not behind, above, on the side, underneath or inside my printer is there a button marked with any wireless connection symbol. This means I simply cannot implement any solutions on this website for establishing a wifi connection with my HP Smart Tank 529. I hope I'm not hallucinating the button's absence...

You must have the USB version of the 529

You can add either Ethernet or Wi-Fi with a USB print server

note that the Wi-Fi print servers are not plug and play.

The ethernet type of USB print server is easier to configure than the Wi-Fi version.

Some modems / routers have built in USB print servers but the typical residential router provide by the ISP lacks that feature.

Hp 529 is USB only printer. While hp website says HP Smart App supports this printer, this is incorrect. Even the HP agents are giving wrong information. U can only use Laptop/PC to connect or OTG Cable but no app support

1.  Checking on the specifications for Smart Tank 529 shows that this model 529 only has a USB connection.

2.   That is the reason why there is no wireless button.

3.  If you want to install this printer you need to connect using a USB cable and then install printer software.
