HP Smart Tank 7000 cannot select print in color from Mac Sonoma

Hi there, 

The  HP Smart Tank 7000 works fine, however I cannot select to print in color anywhere. The print report comes out in color, but as a user I have no option in any program of the Mac to select this. When searching the help desk options online no clear instruction can be identified.
