Hi @InstallIssues,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering an issue with the installation process of your HP Smart Tank Printer 7602. Let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue.

  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes a simple restart can help resolve temporary issues. Turn off the printer, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on.
  • Restart Your Computer or Mobile Device: If you're setting up the printer from a computer or mobile device, try restarting it to see if that helps.
  • Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your computer or mobile device is connected to the internet, as the installation process may require an active internet connection.
  • Update HP Smart App: Make sure that you have the latest version of the HP Smart App installed on your mobile device. If not, update it from the App Store.
  • Check Printer Display: If your printer has a display screen, check if there are any error messages or prompts that could provide more information about the issue.
  • Reset Printer: If none of the above steps work, you may need to reset the printer to its factory settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
