Hello,

I just received and set-up my new printer. I am wondering should the printer tray extender being opening when I start a print job. I can pull it out myself. On my last printer it would extend when I started a print job if it wasn't out already.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

 

The HP Smart Tank 7602r does not have an automatic tray extender like some other HP models. You will need to manually pull out the output tray extender before printing. This is different from your previous printer, which had an auto-extending tray.
