I have been unable to use HP Smart or HP Support Assistant to remove my old devices. I also cannot add new devices to HP Smart, nor update correct warranty information for my new printer. I've tried all the posted solutions to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

You might have to raise a warranty dispute to update the warranty.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are unable to update the printer driver, I am glad to assist you.
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.

- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.

- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.

Thank you. Following the steps did remove my old printer from the HP Smart app. I am not ready to remove my current printer since it took several hours to set it up to begin with, I will attempt this at a later time. The HP Support Assistant app still lists my old printer and PC, and has inaccurate information on my new printer warranty and I see no options to remove the old devices or update the new printer warranty info.

Hi, Sandy, I did exactly that a couple days ago, the support agent found the printer was generating an improper model number and they promised to update it to show the correct warranty information within a few days. Thank you.
