Hi everyone,
I've got a HP Envy 6232 printer and I've downloaded HP SMart app. My problems are the following:
- HP Smart app keeps asking me the account user control (which is quite annoying);
- the printer is detected by the laptop, but the settings say that the spool is off. If I try to turn it on, it returns off after a while (even with the automatic option from the services tab);
- if I try to print from HP Smart, it pops ut the 0x800706ba error.
I've already uninstalled and uninstalled the app; I've altready downloaded the drivers from HP page, which lead me to download HP Smart or HP Easy Start, which doesn't detect my printer either.
So I'm quite stuk. What shall I do?

Try with the HP Print Dr.
>> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe
to fix the spool.
Then install the basic driver for your printer
>> Envy 6232 - basic driver for install - Windows

Unfortunately the HP print dr isn't able to fix the problem, which is linked to the printer port. There's still the spooler problem.
As for the driver, I had already tried to use it, but I wouldnt' fix the problem..., it leads me to HP easy start and it doesn't work.
