Welcome to the HP English Community --
Unfortunately, the printer no longer supports Web Services.
Reference: HP printers - Cannot connect to Web Services
Section 1, Item 4
Web Services is required to connect the printer to the Internet.
HP Smart depends on this type of connection for many of its features.
Without Web Services, the HP Smart app is likely to have issues or perhaps not work at all.
I've read that HP Smart can work using a USB cable connection between the printer and the computer -- I've never seen it. I cannot confirm whether USB works or offer suggestions on its use.
Depending on your Operating System / version, you might be able to install and use standard Windows / MacOS print drivers.
Perhaps consider replacing the printer with a new model that supports newer applications, connection types, and print software.
