HP Smart app on windows 10

HP all in one desktop PC running windows 10. All in one HP ENVY Photo 7134 printer. Recently formated and reinstalled the PC using the recovery image on PC. I tried to download HP Smart app but it comes up as HP AiO remote???? I thought that this app was for windows 8? Any idea how I can get back HP Smart app?

Hello,

The HP Smart application is available to Windows 10 on PCs: Install and Use the HP Smart App (Windows 10). If you are running Windows 8, please use HP AiO Remote or HP Scan and Capture (Windows 8.1).

clicking the link opens up HP smart on the windows store when downloaded it is HP AiO

If Microsoft Store (Windows Store) opens directly on HP AiO Remote, it tells us that you are on Windows 8. Because if you were on Windows 10 the Store would open on HP Smart.

Please use the HP ENVY 7100 series Full Drivers and Software to install the printer.

I notice that you are on old version of Windows 10, version 1507 or 1511, so HP Smart is not supported on this version of Windows 10. HP Smart is minimally supported from Windows 10, version 1709.

That's why Microsoft Store offers you HP AiO Remote instead of HP Smart.
If you wish to use the HP Smart application, please update Windows 10 to a newer version. Or directly to the latest version of Windows available via the Microsoft link below.
