Hi Dragon_Fur,

 

As promissed latest update of the papersize issue.  Yesterday I installed the desktop (was the previous one of my son) at my fathers place (after a clean install of windows and installing the most recent updates of win10).  I installed the printer software as advised by you (easy install as admin) and voilà, problem solved.  He has now al current papersizes available in the printer settings.  I guess my fathers PC was to old or something.  I have no other clue why it didn't work on the old PC.

Excellent.

You are welcome.

When all else fails, yes - sometimes the only solution to reload Windows.

 

There are several places where Windows can affect the printing software - some of these are deep in the OS and not impacted by simple reloading of the printer software.  Kudos for persistence.  Smiling.
