The scan function in HP Smart has stopped working recently. No changes or updates, so confused about the cause.
Instead of going to scan options, it tries to launch cloud services, prompts me to sign in, opens a blank 'connecting to a service' window and just sits there.
Still able to connect to and use the scanner through Adobe and other aps, or by signing into the printer's IP address in my browser.
Running Print and Scan doctor did not resolve the issue.
Webscan is enabled in the printer settings.

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart App.
