DESKJET F4280 ALL-IN-ONE

I have a DESKJET F4280 ALL-IN-ONE printer. I need to download the HP application for Win 8.1 or Win 7.
I am trying to download it from the Microsoft website, but after clicking "download", the following information appears in the place of this icon: "See Hardware Requirements".
On Windows 8.1, these requirements are met.
How can I download this software or maybe it is possible from other server?

Can I change the region codes in any other software than HP Smart?

Can someone download the HP Smart installation files for me from the Microsoft website
and upload it to any hosting server?
Like for example:

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

The HP Smart App is not compatible with your Printer.

I would suggest you try the Windows built-in drivers. Follow the steps below:

•    Go to Control Panel - Devices and Printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.

•    When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.

•    Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.

Refer to this document HP Printers - Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver for help.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!

@Betty0610

The thing is that I can install the printer drivers and its software. However, I need HP Smart App to change the region settings. I know well that HP Smart is not compatible with my printer but people from HP Support told me that this is the only solution.

Perhaps you could upload the installation files to an other server? For example on HP website, since it is HP product. Placing them on a Microsoft website is a bit of an unfortunate idea.

Or maybe you have another idea how can I change the regional settings?

So I still keep my request

What region settings would you like to change?

From US to Europe.

The problem is that I can not open the region settings window under any software delivered by the HP.

I understand. Which country in Europe?

To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region to which you want to reset it to.

Let us know if you meet the criteria.

Thanks 🙂

Yes, all the criteria (1-3) are meet

The problem is that the key configuration to open the window with the regions setting does not open.

The next steps would be:

1) Launch the printer software from the desktop icon or from the Start menu, click Start, All Programs, HP, the Product Name, and then the Product Name again.

2) Double-click the Estimated Ink Levels icon in the printer software. The Estimated Ink Levels window opens.

3) Press and hold the CTRL and SHIFT keys, and then right-click anywhere in the Estimated Ink Levels window, except for a button. The Set New Region window opens.

4) If the Set New Region window fails to open, right-click to the right and left of the Estimated Ink Levels window.

5) Take a screenshot of the screen and send it to me.

Thanks 🙂
