@Hyper23, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If you're experiencing issues with the HP Smart app not opening on your Windows 10 device, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Reinstall the HP Smart App

Sometimes, the installation itself may be incomplete. Try uninstalling the HP Smart app and then reinstalling it:

  • Go to Settings > Apps.
  • Find the HP Smart app in the list and select Uninstall.
  • After uninstalling, visit the Windows Store to download and reinstall the HP Smart app.

Check Internet Connection

Ensure that you have a stable internet connection during the app download and installation process.

Clear Cache and Temporary Files:

Clearing cache and temporary files might help in resolving any issues with app execution.

  • Open Disk Cleanup from the start menu and remove temporary files.

Run Windows Troubleshooter

Windows 10 comes with a troubleshooting utility. Run the troubleshooter to identify if there is an issue with the app or Windows:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
  • Find and run the troubleshooter for Windows apps.
