Hi @JanHB,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP app cannot find your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 printer, but you can still print wirelessly from your laptop, it suggests a possible issue with the HP app or connectivity settings. Here are steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.

Ensure Network Connection:

  • Verify that both your laptop and the printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, different network bands (2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz) can cause issues.

Update HP App:

  • Ensure that your HP app is updated to the latest version. Check for updates in the Microsoft Store or App Store, depending on your device.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer, router, and laptop to reset any potential network glitches. Turn off the devices, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn them back on.

Re-add Printer in HP App:

  • Remove the printer from the HP app and then re-add it.
  • Open the HP app, click on the printer tile, and select "Remove" or "Forget this Printer."
  • Then use "Add Printer" to reconnect.

Check Printer Status:

  • Make sure your printer is powered on and not in sleep mode. Touch the control panel to wake it if necessary.

Check with Windows Network/Firewall:

  • Ensure that any firewall settings on your laptop are not blocking the HP app from detecting the printer.

Automatic Troubleshooting:

  • Use the built-in Windows Troubleshooter to diagnose and fix any network or connectivity issues.

Reinstall HP App:

  • If the issue persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the HP app on your laptop.

For further troubleshooting steps and guidelines, you can visit the HP Support document on HP App printer setup and account registration errors.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
