HP Smart doesn't find my printer

HP Smart can't find my printer, even though is connected by USB.

My printer is a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2136 (this is the brasilian version , I think in english it is called All-in-one 2136), Serial No. [Personal Information Removed], FPU No. F5S29-64001

The OS of my computer is MacOS 11.4 Big Sur

Can someone help?

Hi,

Download and follow HP Easy Start below as following:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

When HP Easy Starts prompts to install HP Smart, close this window and click the "Skip to Software Download" button, then follow the steps on screen to install the HP Essential Software, upon completing the installation you should be able to print and scan with our printer.

Thanks, it worked.

But I must say that this "process" makes no sense at all, it is not easy neither smart, actually it is very stupid...

The website tells you to download "Easy Start" ,  then "Easy Start" tells you to download "the software" (which is HP Smart), and then you have to close this prompt (how would you guess?) and click on "proceed to download the software"!!

Here, 1st prompt 

This redirects you to the download of HP Smart, which doens't work.

When you close that prompt, it shows this prompt:

Where the 2nd option, "proceed to download the software", is the option where it install HP Essential, which works...

So stupid, but thanks @ShlomiL !
