HP Smart app downloaded and worked on my phone, but will not work on my laptop. Right now I have a useless printer that I can't use for anything useful.

Isn't there another way I can connect my laptop and printer? - HP must have a back up option? Surely HP hasn't made a printer that's functioning relies solely on an app with glitches ?! Surely?!

(Absolutely regret buying a printer with such a stupid set up system.  )

 

I've tried all the things in the other posts. So annoyed.
