Hi @triath22,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the HP Smart app might have trouble with the Windows 11 installation.
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
- Check for Updates: Make sure that Windows 11 is fully up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and install any available updates.
- Run the App as Administrator: Right-click on the HP Smart app icon and select Run as administrator. This can sometimes resolve issues with permissions.
- Compatibility Troubleshooter: Try running the app's compatibility troubleshooter. Right-click on the HP Smart app icon, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and click on Run the compatibility troubleshooter.
- Reinstall HP Smart: Uninstall HP Smart completely. You can do this by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, finding HP Smart, and selecting Uninstall. Then, download and reinstall the latest version of HP Smart from the Microsoft Store.
- Check for HP Smart Updates: Sometimes, there might be a new version of HP Smart available that fixes compatibility issues. Check the Microsoft Store for any updates to HP Smart.
- Check System Requirements: Ensure that your system meets all the requirements for the HP Smart app. Sometimes, apps have specific requirements that might be missed.
