HP Recommended

To require and force HP Smart installs is representative of a company that does not understand business needs or data security requirements.  It is abusive towards customers and your pittance of a few months of free ink bears no value.

 

HP truly should focus on building better products; not new ways to harvest data that does not belong to them or their affiliated parties.

Depending on the printer you purchase you can chose whether you want to use Smart or not. Stating otherwise is fear mongering. Educate your self before you purchase to ensure you get a product that fits your needs.
