I don't see any new firmware here:

Hello,

I've updated the tool from 120.1.741.0 to 122.1.778.0  but the problem is not solved.

 

As you can see in the picture the printer is well installed in fact I can print without any problem.

 

The problem, as I described in my first message, is related only to HP Smart that doen't find any usb printer.

Is it possible to downlod and install a version older then 120.1.741.0?

This might require remote access to the computer to fix the issue.

 

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
