HP Smart not available to download

I just bought the HP DeskJet 2700. It installed fine and have to install HP Smart app to use other features.

Microsoft Store tells me that the app is currently not available. I am in Cyprus.

Where from can I download the HP Smart app to use the printer properly?

Well, I'm not sure.

HP Smart is a Microsoft Store application.

Even the use of the download from the printer's Software and Drivers category depends on the application being available in the Microsoft Store.

What to do?

I do find a critical Firmware update for your printer dated just a few days back.

There are fixes in the update that might be relevant to your overall situation.

Updating the firmware won't make the application show up in the Microsoft Store - but the firmware does need to be current for everything to work as expected.

Check your firmware version

Firmware is available in more than one of the test pages.

The version sited on the Firmware update page is "part of" the full firmware version.

Example

Use Embedded Web Server (EWS) to find your printer's Firmware version

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Tools > Printer Information > Firmware Version

In necessary, that is, your printer firmware is outdated,

If you have not done so, please update the Firmware.
