HP Software can't detect printer and drivers won't install automatically

My work laptop got replaced (HP Elitebook) and now it can't seem to find the HP Officejet printer either via Bluetooth or USB (and install the drivers correctly). I can detect it but the drivers don't work, and the HP Print and Scan Doctor can't find it (even though my Windows Bluetooth can).

Have tried it on my personal machine and have managed to install it via Bluetooth (so the drivers auto installed and now it works on that), but again the HP Print and Scan Doctor can't find the printer on that machine via Bluetooth, so won't have the added functionality etc.

Any ideas on what might be the issue here? I had thought it was a Work Laptop drivers issue, which may still be the case, but seems odd that the HP Print and Scan Doctor can't find it via either machine.

I had to check all the way back to Windows 7 to even find any mention of the built-in Windows print drivers.

What?

There is not any printer software for this printer.

There is no mention of whether Windows 10 even includes the most basic printer drivers (those that would be built into the Windows Operating System to provide basic print function).

Evidence indicates that the Doctor cannot correctly handle this type of error - that is, searching for software that is not actually available.  Instead of a clean exit and message, "No, cannot find any software", the Doctor might spin and hang.
