HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been using HP Inkjet Printers since the late 9080's and fast forward to now, after perhaps 7 printers my current Printer in my opinion...does not even begin to match up to the HP Printers of years back....simply nowhere as good...not close.

I have HP Smart Software Installed...and have been trying to Install the HP Full driver and software package.  I now have an Icon on my desktop that shows a scanner...and when opened it shows THREE Software

I used to know how to insert an attachment....so I am creating it...

SELECT SCAN DEVICE (Label)

HP Officejet Pro 9010 series (NET) #2

HP Officejet Pro 9010 series (NET)

HP Officejet Pro 9010 series (Net) #3

Each time I have attempted to install the HP Full package Driver Software....this list insert another entry.  If I were to delete and re-install the software this List would add HP Officejet Pro 9010 series (NET) #4

Why???  And how do I get rid of the entries so there is Just one.  When I click on these the scan software opens except for the HP Officejet 9010 series (10)...nothing opens.

Hi @denmarfl,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing a scan-related issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

Let's try to do a root uninstall to delete all the duplicate entries of the printer and reinstall of the software:

Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for an HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to the Hewlett Packard folder, and remove any printer-related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

Once done, please download and install the software from here: Software and drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer

Otherwise, you can use the HP Smart App:  https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04675142

You may also go ahead and Download HP Scan and Capture an alternate scanning application developed for the Windows Operating system. You  may use this reference document: Using the HP Scan and Capture App

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Great response; Thank you....

Before I begin your steps, "

Once done, please download and install the software from here: Software and drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer".

That Link opens to where there are 5 or 6 selections....

When I orignally got and installed softeare back in July 2022...I 1st Installed the HP APP.  I then installed the HP Easyshare software.  All worked fine until recently when the HP Easyshare Software would no longer open.  So I have the HP APP installed, it is allowing printing just fine.  But my goal is to remove what appears as you have written duplicates....and clean out and install fresh.

I would not be UnInstalling the HP App Right?

I am deleting only entries dealing with the HP Easyshare Software Install...your steps will not impact the running of HP Smart App?

Which Software do I download to install the HP Easyshare software?
