Approximately a month ago when double clicking on HP Solution Center icon, the following occurred - Solution Center - Please wait while windows configures Solution Center. Then - The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'SolutionCenter.msi in the box below:
Use source:
C:\Users\David\AppData\Local\temp\7zS7307\seup\SolutionCener\SolutionCenter.msi.
If OK is depressed you receive the following:
SolutionCenter
The path
'C:\Users\David\AppData\Local\temp\7zS7307\setup\SolutionCenter\SolutionCenter.msi cannot be found. verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'SolutionCenter' in a folder from which you can install the product SolutionCenter.
After some research found run msicuu from msicuu2 and removing SolutionCenter - received the following:
SolutionCenter" Parsing error in file
C:\Program files(x86)\HP\DigitalImaging\bin\hpqscloc\1033.xml
After some research, found someone had a similar problem after removing Real Player.
Attempted to reinstall Real Player form a previous uninstall and received the same error.
Any ideas would be appreciated

I went from a 32 bit Windows XP system to the Windows 10 64 bit system
I use an HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-One printer Printer - Scanner - Copier

I uninstalled and reinsalled the HP All-in-One software to no avail, but noticed that the HP Solution Center shortcut did not delete. After a bit of research, found a Microsoft routine, MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta. You are predsented with Are You having problem installing or uninstalling a program. Answering ininstalling will lead you to a list of programs. HP Solution Center is not in the list, but Solution Center by itself is. Selecing this option removes the shortcut from the desktop. I dcon't understand the dynamics between these two. Obviously, the problem is not resolved, but currently I cannot find the continuity between HP Solution Center and Microsoft Solution Center. Any thoughts, as I am at a standstill, and will attempt to check out other avenues of possibilities.

Hi,
Sounds like the Printer Software is corrupted. Have you tried reinstalling the complete Printer Software? If not you may try to download and install and see if the helps.
You can download the Printer Software from the link below;

After a bit of research, I discovered that the software had not been removed completely. I found this information from a reply by Rich1 dated 03/20/2013 02:55 PM. Note: this first step is my recommendation, as a safety precaution.
This is a partial excerpt from his response:
1. Create a restart point and label so it can easily be found.
2. Download and run software and drivers for your printer if you don't have them available.
3. Once the download is complete with extracting, cancel the download. Note: If you are not certain, let it run to completion with the install. Be advised the next steps will remove the software and it will have to be re-installed anyway.
4. Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the Run menu.
5. Type %temp% in the run field and click OK.
6. Look for and open the folder starting with 7z (Note: In my case there were a couple, I chose 7zS1836).
7. Find and open folder Util.
8. Find and open folder CCC.
9. Find and run the uninstall.bat routine for your printer.
Run Uninstall_L4.bat for non-HP computers. Run Uninstall_L3.bat for HP computers.
10. When uninstall complete, reboot computer.
11. If not already completed, download full feature software and drivers for your printer.
12. Run the download to re-install the printer.
This resolved my HP Solution Center problem and it is working correctly again after several months. I no longer have to guess how much ink I have left (YAYYYYYYY!)
Thanks to all in the forum who assisted me and allowed me to keep what little hair I have left.
