Hi! Since a couple of hours the HP Solution Centre printer software is not working. The only thing I see is a blank screen with an 'f' (the logo of Adobe Flash) and an 'i' when I start the software. Rebooting my notebook or a full reinstall of the software doesn't make any difference. I'm using W10 and my printer is an HP Deskjet F2180 intjet printer.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Please visit forum topic 'HP Solution Center Not Working (probably flash issue)' for the solution
@Jim412 came with the steps needed and now I have got the Solution Center successfully running on W10 64-bit version 20H2! See message n. 34 in the topic (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Setup-Software-Drivers/HP-Solution-Center-Not-Working-probably...)
Good luck to everyone in following the road to success!

The scan app "HP Scan and Capture" can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store for free. Far less functionality for scanning, but oké for those who are in big trouble. To my opinion, this is not an acceptable alternative for the future.

Adobe Flash Player is EOL as of December 31st 2020. Today [12th January 2021] Adobe have blocked Flash content from running in Flash Player. As the Solution Centre relies on Flash Player, it now does not work. As Nelis81 says, the HP Scan and Capture app works well

Community member HermannH has an interesting solution.
I am going to try these steps and hope it will work for me as well.

I have tried the scan and capture but it will NOT find my device. I tried making the printer the default, no luck. I tried running print and scan doctor, it's solution is to download drier update. It fails with a Windows 8 error, I am running Windows 10.

Hi Tyrael87,
Thank you for your help. Unfortunately I have already uninstalled Flash while trying to execute the earlier solution. And Adobe does not provide the option to reinstall the Flash software... I've tried to adjust the system clock, but it is not the temporary fix for me anymore.

Hi Mross08083,
How annoying that the HP Scan and Capture software does not offer a solution for you. I hope HP will come up with a decent solution soon. A huge number of people worldwide with perfectly working printers are depending on Solution Center and now have a problem. Although these printers will be a bit older, HP cannot ignore these users.
