Some months ago all I got when trying to launch Solution Centre. Tried uninstalling/CCleaner/reinstall. Solution still will not launch and comes up with need for Adobe Flash Player - which is long discontinued. Suffolk2 (1229BST Sat 15th May)

@Suffolk2, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
Yes, HP Solution Center will not work anymore as it is no longer supported. For more info on this issue, refer to - HP Solution Center doesn't open
Install the printer using Windows built-in driver
Refer to this document to know how. Try printing. Use Deskjet 990c driver if your printer is not listed.
Refer to this document HP printer setup (Windows built-in driver) for help.
Note: No software is available for scanning. You may use MS paint.
If this does not help, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

Many thanks. Surely HP new sometime in advance that Adobe Flash was to be discontinued and could have produced a solution. Of course there is more profit these days in obsolescence. Not to mention the problems of such printers going to landfill or whatever.
Thank you for your time. I had gone to using what I see as the basic means of using the 2050 printer.
Kind Regards, Suffolk2
