I am wondering why HP Support Assistant is asking me to update my Print and Scan Drivers repeatedly, with this update marked urgent.  If my printer has the drivers installed, why is it continually asking me to install them again?

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are requested to install the HP Print and Scan doctor.

 

 HP Print and Scan Doctor is a free tool for Windows to help resolve common printing and scanning problems, such as missing or corrupt print drivers, connectivity issues, firewall issues, scan error messages, printer offline, and print jobs stuck in the print queue.

 

But, the application is not a mandatory driver required for the printer, it is a diagnostic tool.

 

If you do not want to install the app, you can ignore the message.

 

And, the urgent could be because of its a new updated version.
