Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Microsoft Tech Support confirms that the HP driver for the T100 will not install on Windows 11 and that I need to wait until HP provides the driver for Windows 11.

 

When will the driver for Windows 11 be available?

File name: HP_DesignJet_and_PageWide_XL_Installer.exe (1177.3 MB), but the download will take a little longer!

Microsoft Tech Support verified that the current HP DesignJet and PageWide XL Windows Printer Driver installer will not install properly on Windows 11.

What is the problem?

When running the executable for HP_DesignJet_and_PageWide_XL_Installer.exe, the install fails with an error message that states that the INF file cannot be located.  I don't have the screen shot with me but can upload it tomorrow.  Also, attempting a manual install with the "HP DesignJet and PageWide XL PCL3 Driver for Windows" fails.  

The T100 will install and print with the generic Microsoft driver but the wide format features are not available.

Microsoft Level II tried for 3 hours to get the HP drivers to install but finally told me to contact HP and inquire when the Windows 11 drivers will be available.
