HP TANGO X PRINTER purchased in April 2022 will no longer power on. Tried all the power on/off steps, different outlets, bought a new power cord at Best Buy. The printer was never heavily used, about 10 pages a month at the most. Anyone know who to get it to power on or a master reset button? The Geek Squad at Best Buy quoted $99 for troubleshooting. I bought the printer for around $250 or so. Let me know if anybody else has had this problem fixed!

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP Tango X Printer. If you've already tried basic troubleshooting steps like checking different outlets and using a new power cord, and the printer still won't power on, you may want to consider the following steps.

 

  • Check for Physical Damage: Inspect the printer for any physical damage, loose connections, or visible issues. Make sure there are no obstructions preventing the printer from functioning.
  • Perform a Hard Reset: Some printers have a hard reset option. To perform a hard reset, unplug the printer from the power source and disconnect any cables. Wait for about 5-10 minutes, then reconnect everything and try turning it on again.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Visit the HP website to check for any available firmware updates for your printer model. Updating the firmware might resolve certain issues.

I have the same issue and purchased it in April 2022 as well. Are there any known issue regarding this product/serie?
