iOS 8 - 8.4.1

I have followed the (very simple) instructions to set up my Tango printer - download the HP Smart app.  Connect in wifi settings to HP Set Up.  This immediately disables my home wifi and so the set-up fails.

I believe the printer is connecting to your iOS device using WiFi direct, that could be the reason the WiFi is being disabled. We can use HP Smart App and and HP Auto wireless connect feature to connect the printer to your home wireless network. 
Here is how to do it:

1.) On the back of the printer, press and hold the Wireless button  for 5 seconds. The Edge lighting flashes blue.

(This step will restore default wireless settings on the printer and enable Auto Wireless connect. Immediately continue to the next step to install the software. You have approximately 120 minutes to complete the network setup using the HP auto wireless connect feature.) 

2.) Download and install HP Smart App on your iOS device from here.

3.) Open HP Smart App and follow the onscreen instructions to connect the printer to a wireless network.
