My Company is trying to package this install so it can be installed without user interaction. When they try it, it will install but then when a user tries to use the scan software it prompts for Admin credentials, "cancel" can be clicked on and it will allow the user to continue and actually use the software. But everything they have tried they can't get it to stop prompting for the Admin creds, is their a known solution to this?

** I found this old post, offering a stand alone version of the software for the HP Universal scan. Is there a different version that I could try?

User guide https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-public/pdf_3360498_en-US-1.pdf discusses how to perform a silent install, not sure if that will resolve your issue but worth a look.

It looks like our software delivery group already tried this. When a user logs in and clicks on the HP Scan icon on the desktop, a popup box asking for admin rights for "ScanToPCActivationAPP", but you can click on cancel and it will let you continue without issues. We know we will get a lot of complaint if we leave it that way.

Would you have any other solutions to try?
