HP ENVY 6022 All-in-One Printer

Hello!

I`ve got an update notification concerning a HP-Printer- 31.1.2001.9295.  What kind of a printer might  that be ? And how do I get rid of this information from the Windows update site?

It's a good idea to keep your printer's drivers and firmware up to date to ensure it functions properly.

 

To install the update and remove the notification on your Windows computer, follow these steps.

 

  • Click on the Start button or press the Windows key on your keyboard.
  • Type "Windows Update" and press Enter to open the Windows Update settings.
  • In the Windows Update settings, click on "Check for updates." Windows will search for available updates, including the HP printer update.
  • Once the update is found, it will be listed along with other updates. Select the HP printer update (in this case, "HP-Printer-31.1.2001.9295") by checking the box next to it.

Hi Alden4,

thank you for trying to help me with the Hp-update issue. Unfortunately there is no update activity when I press the install button, the information given is only : try again.  How do we fix this problem? I also visited the HP offical site, but I do not know where to find any downloads there.

As indicated on this Microsoft Forum, if your printer works fine, just hide the update and forget about it.

Good day! 

I tried to  hide the update notification in accordance with your instruction but it seems that the MS " wushowhide.diagcab" tool doesn`t work properly , i.e. the update won`t  disappear and indicates an installation error constantly.

when I click on the mentioned link I only come back to the same HP support site  and any contact details of support engineers I cannot detect. But anyway, thank you again for trying to assist me to solve the problem with the update matter.
