I purchased and HP Officejet Pro 9110b via work in March 2026.  Didn't set it up until April.  Printed 1 document and then it jammed and stopped working.  Found a white plastic wheel/sprocket loose inside the printer.

When I reacjed our via warranty, it's saying it's already expired.  HOW CAN THAT BE?  Makes no sense and I can't even seem to find a number to call someone at HP to discuss....

When a printer is manufactured, a default warranty period of one year plus 90 days to cover warehousing and shipping time is applied. If you fail to register your printer at purchase and lose your receipt, that is the warranty time that would be looked at, should you need to make a warranty claim.

Ideally when you purchase a printer, you register it at register.hp.com and the warranty coverage is updated to reflect one year from date of purchase.

I suggest you go through the registration procedure and then you should be able to obtain warranty service.
