HP app malfunctioning when printing photos from Windows Photos app

Normally when printing photos from Windows Photos app, I select "More Settings" that bring up HP app printer settings where I make changes needed for that particular print job.

Recently, the HP app started malfunctioning.  The app opens showing the various print setting fields with default value, THEN, A MOMENT LATER, ALL THE SETTING FIELDS GO BLANK AND ARE UNRESPONSIVE.

However, when printing from Adobe Photoshop Elements the HP app pops up and functions as it should.

If HP app is having a failure then try to install again from the next link:

When installing the HP Smart App, it quits after notifying me that the latest version is installed.

Ok, if that doesn´t work then try to Reset and Restart HP  app follow steps from next video:
