I am unable to print...but!,,,every time I attempt printing I get a pop-up "filexxxx" will damage your computer...I have attempted multiple things...no luck. I even tried HP Smart: "Printer offline" indication...

Will appreciate your help/guidance.

When trying to I received "Report Malware to Apple. PDE.plugin will damage your computer. This file was downloaded on an unknown date. Report malware to Apple to protect other users.

An hour on the phone with Applecare cleared out cookies and other junk. Then, when trying to print I receive a bogus cartridge message from the printer. Installed a new "genuine" printer but still not able to print.

Do I need an new driver or what?
