@BytheSeanow, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding downloading the app to set up your HP DeskJet 3760 printer on macOS 10.13.6

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Check Compatibility: Ensure that you are trying to download the correct driver and software package compatible with macOS 10.13.6.

Download from HP Support:

  • Visit the HP Support page and enter your printer model (DeskJet 3760).
  • Navigate to the "Software and Drivers" section.
  • Select your operating system (Mac OS 10.13.6) and download the latest version of drivers and software available.

Update macOS: Ensure your macOS 10.13.6 is up to date with the latest security and software updates. Sometimes, software updates include important fixes and improvements that solve compatibility issues.

Clear Old Installations:

  • If the printer worked before, uninstall any previous installations of the HP printer software.
  • Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners".
  • Select your HP DeskJet 3760 from the list and click the “-” button to remove it.
  • Delete any HP-related files from the Applications folder and /Library/Printers folder.

Install the HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app from the Mac App Store.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer and complete the setup.

Troubleshoot Network Connection (if wireless):

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac.
  • Restart your router, printer, and Mac.

Reset the Printing System:

  • Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners".
  • Right-click (or Control-click) in the Printers list and select “Reset printing system”.
  • This will remove all printers and scanners. Reinstall your HP DeskJet 3760 by adding it again.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
