macOS 10.15 Catalina

Downloaded the new MacOS Catalina upgrade and then got the infamous "this is harmful for your computer" pop ups as i see everyone is experiencing. I uninstalled but now i cant find the software to re-install anywhere. Looks like the printer i have must be outdated on the hp website. Really need to use my printer for work and my printer usually works perfectly otherwise. Do not want to have to get a new printer just because i cant find the software.

Please help!!!!!!

Hi,

Please make sure to unplug the printer from the Mac.

Next. make sure your macOS is fully up to date with any of its latest updates.

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201541

Next, follow the HP Uninstaller to uninstall any existing software:

Finally, reinstall the latest drivers below:

Now reconnect the printer to your Mac and check for any difference.

Hi Shlomi,

Thank you for your reply! I have followed all the steps but i keep getting a pop up that says "this volume does not meet the requirements for this update" when trying to install the HP printer software. Do you have any recommendations for this?

Thank you!

Stef
