Hi @Makenzie28

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If your HP DeskJet 3755 isn’t printing its password (for Wi-Fi Direct or network connection), you can usually retrieve it using the following steps:

1. Print a Network Configuration or Information Page

  • Press and hold the Information button (⓰) on your printer until a page prints.
  • Look for the default Wi-Fi Direct password or network details on this printout.

2. Check the Printer’s Display or App

  • On some models, the Wi-Fi Direct password is displayed on the printer’s control panel under the Wi-Fi Direct settings.
  • Alternatively, use the HP Smart App (available on your smartphone or computer) to access your printer’s settings and locate the password.

3. Reset the Password

  • If you cannot find the current password, you can reset it. Turn on Wi-Fi Direct by holding the Wi-Fi Direct button until the light flashes.
  • Reprint the information sheet as described above to retrieve the updated password.

4. Restore Printer Network Settings

  • If the password is still inaccessible, you might need to restore your printer's network settings to default.
  • Press and hold the Cancel and Wi-Fi buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds, then retry retrieving the password.
