I have a HP deskjet 6122 printer that has stopped working.  Back in 2016 I had issues and through HP support I was guided to use the 990C driver, which is discussed in this forum during that time frame. .  That worked all this time until this week.  The printer is working fine mechanically since it will print the test colors when I remove and then put  back in the ink cartridges.  But for any kind of document it will not print though the document does go into the print que. This has been a great printer for me and would would like to keep it going.  I did **bleep** and was told to scrap it and get a new one since it is so old.  What can I do to get this printer working again?

Problem solved.  Did not see a response to my post but continued to search on the 6122 printer and did find an answer that worked for me.  I had tried the different drivers but did not get a solution that worked until I read one of the suggestions of changing the port.  I changed the port to a USB0003 and my printer took right off.   This after I had called HP tech support and they told me to throw the printer away and had a new printer ready to ship to me with free shipping.  So thank you to the  expert that made the post regarding the printer ports.  I could not find how to respond directly to him.
