Has anyone got this error code on there printer if how can I get rid of it error code OXBO5EOO. 
I have tried unplugging takeout cartridges leave for an hour but still same error

@Kimble68 Lets start with power reset as per HP standards, here's how we recommend doing it:

  • Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
  • Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
    • NOTE: 
    • HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  • Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  • Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

If the issue persists, please upgrade the printer firmware:

I have as I stated in my question tried unplugging take out cartridges and leave then put it all back together but it doesn’t work. When I turn it on the error code comes on before the printer starts and it just locks up I can usually get it to work by pressing the power button every time it gets to the error and eventually it starts, obviously this is a pain because it can take 30 minutes of pressing power button to start it.

sorry I forgot to say I have also tried to update using my computer but because it has to shutdown and re start it can’t complete the action because when it tries Trevelyan start the error code comes up and eventually times out before I can get it re started

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
