My HP Envy 4516 all-in-one printer will not print color when sent from my computer (Dell Inspiron 15 5000 2 in 1). Windows 10 operating system. The printer works fine printing the same document in color when sent from my iPhone. I'm not sure when this started. Print Quality diagnostic page sent from the printer icon on the desk top prints color fine.
I have uninstalled and re-downloaded printer drivers . 4510 series drivers is what it get.
"Print" window does not even show color as an option.
Any and all help/ideas appreciated. I'm too old to try and figure it out on my own.
Thanks,

Welcome to HP support community.
Did you uninstall the printer driver from root level?
If not, follow the below steps:
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.
Type %temp% in the run field, and click OK.
Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
Open folder Util
Open folder CCC
Run the uninstall_ L4.bat
When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.
Type %programfiles% in the run field and click OK.
Delete any HP/Hewlett Packard folders.
Download and install printer full feature driver
Click here to download the driver.

Started through your instructions OK.
about the third step Look for and open the folder starting with 7Z ...., I found several folders - may be due to trying to download drivers multiple times? found the one with a folder "Utils" , but it does not contain a folder CCC. Currently I am stopped there, so I can not Run the Uninstall_L4.bat
Since that folder/command is not there does it mean that I can skip the next two steps and just uninstall the printer from the control panel, and then move on to the step of running the programfiles command and then deleting any HP folders?
Unfortunately, I am too old, and not tech -savvy enough to even take a screen shot of what I am seeing.
Will wait to hear form you again.
Thanks,

I finally gave up and just got a new HP printer. Followed the set up directions that came up on my computer after turning on the printer, and it is working fine (printing color, etc.)
Sometimes I suffer from too much information (data and website overload) that I don't always understand.
I need a one button "update or repair for Geezers".
Thanks for the help
