@mrb1t, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Envy 5000!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're trying to reset credentials for logging into a website via the network on your HP Envy 5000 printer, it depends on what credentials you're referring to. Here are a few possibilities:

1. Reset HP Smart Account Credentials (HP Connected Login)

If you're trying to log in to HP Smart or HP Connected and forgot your password:

  1. Go to HP Smart website.
  2. Click Sign In and then Forgot password?
  3. Enter your email and follow the instructions to reset your password.

2. Reset Network Credentials for Wi-Fi Login

If your printer is not connecting due to Wi-Fi password issues:

Reset the Wi-Fi settings on the printer

  • Touch the Wireless icon on the printer display.
  • Select Restore Network Settings (under Advanced or Reset).
  • Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi using HP Smart or Printer Setup Wizard.

Reconnect with a New Wi-Fi Password

  • If you changed your Wi-Fi password, update it by reconnecting the printer:
    • Open HP Smart or go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners in Windows.
    • Remove and re-add the printer using the new credentials.

Let me know if this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
