Problem with setup of HP Envy 5055 printer. Can't get online. Serial number input say warranty expired. How do I remedy what will allow my scanner/printer to work. It worked before I updated to Windows 11 from Windows 10

If you're experiencing issues setting up your HP Envy 5055 printer after updating to Windows 11, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem. Here's a step-by-step guide.
Check Physical Connections:
- Ensure that all cables connecting your printer to your computer are securely plugged in.
- Verify that the printer is powered on and has no error lights or messages.
Restart Devices:
- Turn off both your computer and the printer.
- Wait for a few minutes and then turn them back on.
- Check if the issue persists.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Visit the official HP support website: HP Customer Support
- Enter your printer model (HP Envy 5055) and follow the prompts to download and install the latest drivers for Windows 11.
Windows 11 Compatibility:
- Make sure that your printer is compatible with Windows 11. Check the HP website for any specific compatibility updates or patches.
Network Connection:
- Ensure that your printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
- Check the Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection on your printer.
Firewall/Antivirus Settings:
- Temporary disable your firewall and antivirus software to see if they are blocking the printer's communication.
Reinstall Printer Software:
- Uninstall the existing printer software from your computer.
- Download the latest software from the HP website and reinstall it.
Windows Update:
- Ensure that your Windows 11 is fully updated. Sometimes, Windows updates can include important drivers and fixes.
Check for Windows 11 Compatibility Issues:
- Verify if there are any known compatibility issues between your printer model and Windows 11.
HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility from the official HP website. This tool can automatically diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems.
I hope this helps.
