I cannot print from my Dell laptop. it did print by WiFi until a month ago. I can print by USB from a desk top which I am trying to retire. I have had a local IT expert visit and after 2 hours he gave up, saying there must be an incompatabilty problem. He uninstalled and reinstalled drivers etc. I cannot make the lap top print via USB which would be useful but not ideal. Any ideas please Thank you. DC

Good afternoon Elohi, i followed the instructions to reinstall all the drivers etc. i tried to print a file and while it said printer rteady and showed printing 1/1 nothing printed. BUT BUT I plugged in (nothing else) a USB cable to my lap top and 2 earlier failed print jobs and the last requested print job printed out immediately. This USB  method had not worked previously. The print queue showed nothing, in respect of the 2 earlier failed prints or the last job.

It would be more convenient to use Wi Fi printing, a USB cable solutiononly means I have to take my lap top to the printer. This allows me to "retire" my desk top. We have just moved and I do not have a study or room for setting up a desk top permanently.

Thank you most grateful for your help. Bye for now DC now at Crewkerne not Sevenoaks.
