HP laser 1008a printer trip 1KVA ups while printing. Computer and printer are connected to the UPS. 12V 42ah 3no's battery are connected to UPS. To the same UPS earlier it was connected with HP 1020 printer which was obsoleted and our vendor suggested for 1008a printer but the UPS is tripping during printing. Kindly suggest us a equivalent model of 1020 or how resolve our problem.

@aswin96, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
We recommend not running the HP LaserJet 1008a on the UPS, as its fuser requires a lot of power during printing, causing the UPS to trip. Instead, plug the printer directly into a wall outlet for a stable power supply. Avoid using surge protectors. If you need an equivalent model, consider the HP LaserJet Pro M15a or HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28w for better power efficiency.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.

@Garp_senchau Thank you for responding. My application requires printer to be run during power outrange for short duration of time based on the backup of the UPS. I'm looking for a solution either to upgrade the UPS or a HP printer which will be compatible with UPS.
