Hi, can anyone guide how to connect the HP LaserJet 1018 printer to my HP Pavilion laptop

Driver is here.  Note that win11 is backwards compatible with windows 7

 

This is a USB only printer.   Do not connect the USB until the instructions ask for it to be connected.

 

If was previously connected, then unplug and reboot the PC then do the driver install.

 

When asked to insert the USB cable, be sure to listen for a "beep" that indicates windows sees the device on the usb buss.

 

If MacOS, then sorry, I know very little about MacOS.
