Hi there,
I have just been given an HP Laserjet P1102 printer, and when I plug in the USB cord, I get a message on my Mac OS X 10.11.6 saying that the disk was not readable by this computer. I thought that maybe the drivers needed to be upgraded, so I went into the HP website and found the HP laserjet P1102 firmware update and downloaded it for my Mac. It downloaded successfully, but when I tried to install the dmg file, I get the following message:
Please can you help me with this. It appears that "although the app was signed by an identifed developer, the certificate for the app has been revoked, and it cannot be opened" according to the mac help section on this message. Is this the most updated version as it is from October 2015?
Kind Regards,
Xanthe Roux

@Xantheboo, welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.
I understand that you are unable to install the drivers for your HP LaserJet Pro P1102 Printer.
Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.
And here's the step by step guide for you in the links below:
1. Uninstalling HP Printer Software (Mac)
2. Installing a Mac Printer Driver Using Apple Software Update
Let me know how that works.
I hope you have a good day ahead.

Hi There,
Thanks for the help, those guides are useful. Found that the Apple driver I had linked to (v3.0) was not up to date, so I downloaded the OS X HP driver v5.0, which solved my problem.
here is the link for anyone else that is interested:

Thanks again for the support.
