About a day after cancelling instant ink, my 9012e officejet wouldn’t print. I changed the cartridges to store bought hp cartridges. It printed for a few hours but would not show double-sided printing as an option. A day later, the printer stopped working and the led’s started flashing, meaning I could not access the printer’s menu. My next step was to disconnect from the internet and do a hard reset [disconnect the cable from wall and printer, wait for 3 minutes, hold the power button down for 30 seconds]. The printer would print while performing head alignment. To print from laptop, I reconnected with the wireless internet. The printer would not print from my laptop. After this failed, the printer went back to flashing the led’s. I paid for a printer that works and bought hp ink from a local retailer expecting it to work. How do I get the printer operational again?
