Thanks - very helpful. But, I just realized, my OS is Windows XP, not Windows 7.  My mistake.  When I look for drivers that work in Windows XP, I don;t see anything listed.  Back to the original question, modified:  Can the HP 9125e printer work in a PC running on Windows XP? - thanks

Hi @VFOD1941 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Yes, you can install and use an HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e printer with a PC running Windows 7 that is not connected to the Internet. Here's how you can do it:

  • Download the Drivers: On a different computer with Internet access, go to the HP Support website and search for the HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e drivers for Windows 7. Download the necessary drivers and software.
  • Transfer the Drivers: Move the downloaded driver files to your Windows 7 PC using a USB drive or any other method of file transfer.
  • Install the Drivers: On your Windows 7 PC, run the driver installation file you transferred. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
  • Connect the Printer: Connect your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e to your PC using a USB cable. If you have a different connection method (like a network connection), make sure you have the necessary setup information.
  • Configure the Printer: Once the drivers are installed, go to the "Devices and Printers" section in the Control Panel and add the printer if it doesn’t automatically appear.
  • Test the Printer: Print a test page to ensure everything is set up correctly.
