HP printer driver not available

My computer will no longer print to a network printer.  Computer says printer driver not available.  I have removed the printer and tried adding it back and it says driver not available.  When I go to the add printer wizard it tries to add the driver and the message says element not found.  This computer has always printed to this printer, until recently.  I have tried adding a new printer, with the same results so I am not sure that the printer is the problem, more like my computer has the issue.

I understand that you are getting a driver issue, I am glad to assist you.

You will have to uninstall the printer driver from the root level and reinstall it to fix the issue.

Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.

• In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
• Select your HP printer.
• Select Uninstall.
• In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
• In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
• Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
• Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
• Click on Drivers tab.
• Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
• Select OK.
• Remove all instances of the same.
• Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
• Close Devices and Printers. 
• Restart the PC again.
