Please can someone tell me how to stop printing, i.e. mid-way through a print run ?  On my previous printer, an HP 8020, there was a "stop print"  button.  I think on the 9125e there is supposed to be a red X displayed on screen which has the same function, but I cannot make that red X appear.  Is there a way of achieving this ?

We did not capture your Operating System --

You might not have told us or the data entry system left out the information.

Assuming you can cancel the job on the printer, the window (amount of time) to do so is very short.

The printer's user guide does not seem to include any information to cancel the job at the printer.

Please do double-check.

Regardless,

Once a print job is started, the task is turned over to the device that submitted the print request.

There are other ways to manage the job - hopefully one of them will work for you.

The following is generated by Duck-Duck Assist and is relevant to iPhone

To cancel an active print job on your iPhone, open the App Switcher by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (or double-clicking the Home button on older models), then tap the Print Center app to view your active print jobs and select "Cancel Printing."

-- Relevant to Windows --

-- Example --

Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners

Select your Printer

Open the Print Queue

Two choices:

Control all jobs menu > Pause all, Resume all, or Cancel all

Control one job > Select the job > Right-Click > Select Pause, Resume, or Cancel

or, optionally, use ⑤  "What's Printing" queue
